my bad

sorry for my delay in writing more entries... i've been extremely busy the last few days.

for one, i've been trying to squeeze in as much time as possible to read Breaking Dawn (which is such an amazing book by the way). also, when i'm not reading, i'm usually working, so that's out of my control. but the main reason why i haven't written was because on this last monday, the 4th, i camped out overnight at the NBC studios to get tickets to the Tonight Show. why did i camp out you all must be asking? well, it was for these people:

From left to right: Kevin (20), Nick (15), Joe (18 soon to be 19 on Friday)

yes, i have OJD (obsessive jonas disorder). i've loved the Jonas Brothers for about a year now, and i see no sign of that going away any time soon. i've seen them twice before... the first time was at the Gibson Amphitheatre back in February during their first head lining tour. i then saw them in March at a taping for Jimmy Kimmel Live out in Hollywood. so, me being the crazy, obsessed fan that i am, i decided that i would camp out with my friends to get tickets.

long story short (because it really is an incredibly long story), we got tickets for the outdoor concert, we waited all day long, got in, and i was accidently pushed into the 2nd row. i say accidently because i wasn't intentionally pushing myself, people just kind of kept pushing me closer and closer (which i didn't mind of course). but one thing you need to know is that Jonas fans are absolutely insane...

i've had a similar experience when i went to the Jimmy Kimmel Live taping, but it was nothing compared to this. girls were constantly pushing and shoving their way to try and get to the front. so if one girl pushed, then everyone else moved along with them. i made the mistake of wearing my pretty gold sandals that day, because by the time it was all over, my feet were literally black from everyone stepping on them. i was also wearing a dress that day, and at one point, i looked down, and noticed that it was a third of the way down (no worries, i was wearing a bra). after Jonas played their first song (which, by the way, they only played two songs... what gives?) Jay Leno came up on stage and grabbed this girl who was crying hysterically; she apparently got crushed and couldn't breath. after Jay came on stage, Ben Stiller joined him (who was being interviewed), and they all looked pretty worried and angry. even Jonas looked pretty upset, but i mean, who wouldn't be? the girls are absolutely insane (not me of course, because remember, i was being accidently pushed). so a ton of security came up on stage and forced everyone to move back, which no did of course. they then threatened us saying if we didn't move back, Jonas wouldn't play anymore. long story short again, they played their second song twice, and it was amazing to be in the 2nd row, to see them as closely as i did.

so, that was my Jonas Brothers adventure... i like to tell people that it was utterly amazing, yet utterly horrific. mainly horrific but the amazing parts were surely amazing.

oh, also, i called Borders yesterday to ask them about my Watchmen graphic novel that i ordered over two weeks ago which has still not shipped. they said after i ordered it it became back ordered for 2-4 weeks... they said it'll now be up to two weeks before it ships.

seriously, why did the trailer have to be so amazing?
